It has become a global obsession. Blogging. What began in the late 1990s has revolutionized continents, companies, the corporate market, and constant individual attention. There are a bazillion bloggers out there!
Because of this, I’m honored that you take time to read mine.
Thank you for continuing to support Reframing Ministries through our blog. The most delightful part of my work is investing in your life.
In the days ahead, I would love to hear more about what your needs are your . . .
- Struggles
- Challenges
- Where you may be stuck
- Where you’ve stumbled onto hard times
There is no other you. I care more than you know about how you are doing in life.
I want to encourage, equip, and empower you to be the best you can be every day. In that spirit, I pulled together our most-read posts of 2016.
Please enjoy these posts throughout the week.
One. Why am I not surprised this was one of the most read posts of 2016! Life is FULL of surprises, and only weeks into 2016, we all began facing something called “IT”—that thing that took your breath away. Maybe it’s already happened, so here you go.
Two. Reframing things in our lives is an essential process. That is, until we don’t have ANY frame or reference point for what’s happened in life. When I wrote this post, that’s exactly where I sat . . .
- Confused
- Bewildered
- Angry
- Lost
Sometimes that happens and we must wait as God slowly works in us. God was doing a huge work in my life, and the frame is still being formed. If you find yourself stuck, perhaps these words will encourage you.
Three. In the upper atmosphere ozone is beneficial, but in the lower atmosphere it can be uncomfortable and even dangerous. Mess with our comfort zones and we come out a little upset.
The truth is, God isn’t into comfort zones, and He often squeezes us out of them for our good. It doesn’t feel good at the time, but as we grow, we find that freedom and joy come by releasing our ways to His. This post is all about working through this challenge.
Four. There is one universal experience we all would rather not have to face: PAIN. It took me 35 years to learn that pain can be a friend; in some ways it’s a gift that actually frees us and transforms our souls. This post will be of enormous encouragement as you work through any kind of pain you are facing today.
Five. If you could have any superpower, which one would you choose?
- flying
- leaping tall buildings
- become invisible
- superhuman strength
- superhuman speed
Well, I wish I had them all, but the truth is, they don’t exist. That is such a big bummer! Or, actually, is it? As followers of Jesus Christ, it is in our weakness and most vulnerable conditions that we find strength.
It is Christ who strengthens us; leaning on Him is actually the best superpower of them all. So take a break, put your feet up, and ask the Lord to be near you as you read this post.
Let Me Hear from You
We all are going through difficult stuff. It’s easy to believe we’re alone in our struggles, but we aren’t. Will you share yours with me?
I would love to learn what needs you have so I can write about things that feed your soul. Pick a couple of topics, and let’s make this next year a great one together.
