Philip Yancey’s exploration of the deepest questions of Christian faith appeals to both skeptics and believers, especially those recovering from negative church experiences.  After being raised in Atlanta, Philip began his career as a journalist in Chicago, editing a youth magazine while also writing for a wide variety of other publications.  As a freelance writer, Philip has authored over 25 books in the past four decades, reaching more than 17 million readers.  His books are published in some 40 languages worldwide, and have been awarded 13 Gold Medallions (Christian Book Awards).  He and his wife currently live in the foothills of Colorado, where they enjoy all the glories of the Rocky Mountains.
